Surely this news would be all over the net by now. The anniversary is very very close. If they were to release something for the 25th, they would no doubt make it self known before hand, even make a hint of a possible release. There has been no interest, from either companies about going back into the classic to expand or to bring out a commemorative box set. (GZ yes, but they are seriously under dispute)

HeroQuestFrance wrote:We already talked about some expansions for HeroQuest including a solo mode, a no gamemaster mode, new monsters etc.

The distribution will be with Hasbro and may be other companies worldwide (still pending decisions) but there's a new project first : SPACE CRUSADE, the new edition !
So we will talk about all this later.

This means seven shades of *lemony goodness* until I see any trace of a result of any project that has been talked about by whoever suddenly is in the boat.
I remember you, HeroQuestFrance and gravaillon, being shut down by Hasbro. What was that story again?

Oh, and way to go for GameZone and consorts. Talk about a new project to loosen people of their money BEFORE they see product - or art or plans or concept or greens, for that matter - for the first project. And then go ahead and announce it. And here. Explain.

I'm not feeling well now. Physically. And I seriously think I have a vague suspicion as to who the mysterious GZ ghost operating from France most of the time could be.

I can vouch for HeroQuestFrance as a person. He's a very passionate HeroQuest fan as are most of us here. If the information he's telling us is false, it's because he's been lied to himself but may not realise it. The true source of the information is what you should have a problem with. Don't shoot the messenger in this case.

HeroQuestFrance is not GZ, and he's not Dionisio and shouldn't be mistaken as either. HeroQuestFrance is a HeroQuest loving fan who has volunteered to translate the projects to French and like the many who backed the project, has been seduced by nostalgia. This is my belief, as knowing HeroQuestFrance for a good many years, it couldn't be any other way.

I for one know this should be true.

However, HQF in this here thread embarks on the same dubious tactics as GameZone themselves did. That is the exaggerated comparison I made. I think my post criticizes GZ more than anyone. Again, on their part there is only statement of something we would all be stand behind to be true. Worse, they use an honored member of the inn as cannon fodder. There is no source and there is no proof and there is no indication whatsoever that any of their claims has ever been true. Don't these people understand the concept of comsumer conduct?
What is this Hasbro *lemony goodness*? Kickstarter threw GameZone out because they wouldn't prove that Hasbro gave permission even though they claimed so. Embarking then on a crowdfunding campaign on a different third party side than Kickstarter is - to me - proof for that permission not being there. Now doing the campaign in Spain where the law appears to be somewhat different is downright dubious.
We wanted to see proof that Hasbro gave permission - that was the claim by GameZone, remember? - at any given moment, and here's the deal:
HeroQuestFrance knows that.
So why does he now stake the claim of further projects and that Hasbro is in the boat? And what's with the Hasbro vs. French HQ fans, anyway? Did somebody get blackmailed? What's that comearound? Not allowed to talk about it? I don't get it and for once I wanna see a result and not another claim.

I have read all posts ever posted on this forum and I also vouch for HQF being a big HeroQuest fan. But that makes his staking the claims (and stacking them, pardon the pun) for a company that some of us are pissed on about and getting all secretively into the boat even worse.
As I see it - reasons to be taken from the old thread - HQF is sleeping with the enemy. And make no mistake, I'd very much like to get my mind changed about that.

Have fun working for GameZone, HeroQuestFrance. Seriously, I wish you all happy business.

Still, I wouldn't blame HQF, as he is just as passionate as we are :p And it's not worthy to hate him, even if he would be working with GZ.

Stop telling me that I hate anyone that I clearly do not. I pick my friends and enemies myself.
Now blame him... that I did. But I explained. And I hope that is the beginning of a discussion. Or of clearing up matters from GZ or HQF.
Thesis - Antithesis - Sythesis.

You know, posting is like talking, not writing a novel. It's not written literature just because it's typed. I'm in the moment, and in the moment I feel and thought what I posted.

Da fug?!

Space Crusade... Is not... some generic space setting...
Unlike how you can argue that Hero Quest is a generic fantasy setting, Space Crusade is strictly a Games Workshop setting.
We got Speesh Murriins, Chaos Speesh Murriins and Genestealers, orKs and gretchin.

So GZ have GW's blessing to use those? Really...?
I sure hope they do. If not this will bring down the fury of GW legal team with the rage of a thousand suns!

Not shooting the messenger here (I only know HQF as a dedicated HQ/Ye Olde Inn member |_P ), but I call BS! on GZ!
This can simply not be true unless we are suddenly on Bizarro World.
