This - they're taking FOREVER

Allow me to recommend Citadel's foundations. I bought the yellow, because I too hate normal yellow. And it covers in one go. Love it. Try it!

I'll have to try it, though I rarely paint large areas of yellow. But even when drybrushing, normal yellow is a pain in the ass.

I'd like to present my next hero. The Dwarf Slayer (that sounds like he's slayed a lot of Dwarves, anyway the Slayer who is a Dwarf)
I copied the backside tattoo from somewhere else, I think it turned out nice.
I'm very happy about the hair, it's just how I wanted it.

That's a nice looking trollslayer!

@ Goblin-king I am using the foundation yellow as a base, then vallejo sunny yellow on top but it still seems to take ages... Got another 3 contraptions to do before I'm finished, so halfway done.

Yep like that Slayer, very cool.
I have the exact same one primed to paint, dunno when I'll get to him tho.

There is no such thing as Foundation paints now, GW changed the whole range before Xmas, with the new range totaling 145 paints.
The old Foundations are now called Base Colour, and there's bloody loads of them, and they cover exactly the same as Foundations.

Then there is layer and shade paints, which are the normal paints and washes, which all compliment the base paints.
Plus some fine highlight and dedicated drybrush paints.

To finish it all off they have added liquid greenstuff to the paints range which is a runny form of greenstuff, great for filling bubble holes in resin and joints in plastics.

Most of the old colours have been fairly closely matched to the newer named ones, and there is a conversion chart at GW's site.

What?! Didn't they JUST change their range not long ago already?! Why do they keep changing?!

To keep receiving money.
People think the new range must be better, so they're gonna buy new colors although the old ones aren't empty yet.

Buuuuutttt.... I need that Liquid Greenstuff Bru's talking about.

m2320032a_Citadel_Conversion_Chart[1].pdf

This is the chart for converting your existing paints names to the new paints names.
:D

Note: It doesn't contain any of the newly introduced colours/paints such as the drybrush and textured paints, just strictly a conversion chart.
