Just using old tooth brushes. I tried Nail Polish Remover = Acetone. Helped take off what the alcohol didn't. A lot less was left. Need straight acetone it seems. I'll check into a stripping brush and compare results. These ones I'm doing don't have any primer and are screaming for baths.

As mentioned here many times:
Simple green and Dettol do the trick for both metal and plastic minis. Leave them in for a few hours and brush clean.

I have seen Dettol spray for both bathroom and kitchen. Can I just pour any of those in a jar and use that, or is there another kind of Dettol that is more suitable?

My dettol is a large flask with 48mg/ml chloroxylenol on it. That's what does the trick. As CP already stated, it's the component that has the alcohol in it.

Use an airtight container.

Do not dilute the alcohol with water, or immerse a wet miniature in the alcohol.

Immerse miniature completely.

Seal container.

Wait 1 hour.

Wear tear-resistant rubber gloves.

Strip off paint using a vinyl, steel, or brass paint-stripping brush.

Stuff tears through paint easily. Just make sure you don't let it poke your fingers when brushing. Steel bristles are stiff and hurt mightily!
