We took the deer to the best game processor in the area. Smokey Ridge meats.
The deer was 114 lbs field dressed. It cost 129.00 bucks and we got about 55 lbs of meat.
Not a bad deal.
As I have been scraping and salting that hide I have a better apreciation of the work our pioneer grandmothers had to do.
