This was supposed to be about sharing something so profound and amazing that it can almost move me to tears and it's been turned into this by people who are so full of hate and resentment that they'd rather just bitch. The mods have discussed the recently locked universe topic already, and warnings have been issued. Now this, and it's the same all over again. If each offtopic discussion is going to be like this, we're going to have to ask you to keep it HeroQuest related, because this is NOT what our great Inn is for.
We (the mods) have discussed in length what we should do about this, and measures will be taken. Believe me, there was enough offensiveness to ban people for a year, and things were toned down greatly.
Consider yourselves warned, again. drathe will do what's necessary and appropriate, as the mods have agreed on.

I have decided to lock this thread. Although we would like to be able to discuss any topic here in the Pub, and I understand the passion some have for topics they are personally vested in, several members have expressed their concerns that the subject matter is too sensitive. The debates have been causing too much friction among otherwise upstanding members and other members have been feeling uneasy about visiting the Inn in past weeks due to the tense atmosphere. As such, I politely ask that volatile subjects be taken outside the Pub to Websites that are specific to those topics. It would be a shame for our great Inn to dwindle due to arguments on a subject that has nothing to do with our primary purpose; keeping the best fantasy board game, HeroQuest, alive for generations to come. Personally, if a topic was going to kill the Inn, I'd rather it be whether Morcar/Zargon and Mentor are the same person.
