Helping Friends Move Produces Dividends

I'm really hoping the D&D Next (5.0) edition will deliver what is claimed. It's supposed to have a simple core that harkens back to the Dungeons&Dragons Basic and Expert boxed sets, but it also incorporates many 3.5 edition features. Beyond that, it will be expandable in complexity. I'm only interested in the simpler core rules at this point--less fiddle should equal easier gameplay.

Helped one of my friends move this weekend. Simple move itself was easily done in 2 hours. The best part of it stems from the fact that I not only got dinner from it for helping but I also got his D&D stuff. All of it is a great windfall now that I've a gaming group coming over on Thursdays. I am now the owner of...

They also found a 4th Edition Redbox that the previous owners left. The only thing missing out of it was the dice. The d4 and D12 were still in it but the rest were gone. So yeah I feel lucky to have gotten this random boon of stuff for gaming. I'm not going to use 4th edition but the map it has was quite nice.

Anywho just had to tell someone even if nobody cares.

Does this mean you're giving away the AD&D and 4e stuff? If so, I'm interested in some of them.

It is the redbox and contents. Minus the 2 dice (always good to have dice) and the map. I can use the map for various encounters. But the box and contents of char sheets and cards for daily/encounter/whatnot powers will likely not be used. If you'd like it send me a PM and with gusto it'll be heading your way.
