If your not insured they will charge double what the insurance would have to pay. H2O2 costs around a dollar a bottle. Change your bandages regularly and flush well. (though I'm sure cp is on top of this)
by the way if you get hurt on the job and there are no witnesses, your screwed. L&I can deny your claim for lack of evidence. By then your insurance will not cover it because you already said it happened at work. Again, they charge double. I know both from experience.

Medical professionals are pooples and don't always have every answer. A time or two when a cut wasn't healing well or started getting nasty I'd excavate a bit and give it a new chance to heal better. Worked for me the couple of times I did it.
