So I pass by the prototypes row, and see a game with some cool, quite large, painted miniatures. I stop to take some pictures, and the designer walks up and asks me if I'd like to know more about the game. Always happy to learn about upcoming games, I listen to the explanation, and we have a nice chat. I comment that the cards used in this game remind me very much of the old HeroQuest cards, the artstyle is very similar.
He immidiately goes "Yes! I'm SO glad you got that! That's exactly what I was aiming for, because HeroQuest is the best game ever made!" We laugh, I tell him to make sure to check out my review on HeroQuest, which starts with a skit made by the Bard himself, the creator of the best HeroQuest video ever, which he was referring to.
Somehow, the conversation leads to Ye Olde Inn, and he mentions he's a member there, and I go: "Oh really? So am I!" He asks: "Oh, what's your username?" I tell him it's Sjeng, and his jaw drops to the floor lol. "THE Sjeng!!??"
