So we (my uncle, cousin and I) were playing D&D the other night. My uncle was the DM, my cousin was was a Goliath fighter, and I was a Half-Orc Cleric. We decided to play old school, paper, pencil, dice and three sick and twisted mines. Long story short, I couldn't roll for crap that night. I would attempt to attack a zombie and miss. About thirty minutes into trying to kill said zombie I finally got feed up and told my uncle I'm going to bit the zombies nuts off (didn't think I would be able to roll the DC check) and naturally I rolled like an 18 on the d20. So I ended up biting and ripping off the zombies nuts (zombie fries).

So from that point on the inside joke has been nobody has the taste for zombie fries anymore.

"Swift Wind" into "Quicksilver", "Rock Skin" into "Colossus", "Lightning Bolt" into "Cyclops", "Courage" into "Wolverine" if you wanna really take it a few steps.
Of course, wordings could be changed accordingly.

My brother plays the , whenever he's in a situation of inaction, or it's his turn and he has no action to perform he'll always say, "I'm gonna shmoke a cigar."

In like manner, my cousin, who plays the , any time he draws a Hazard or Wandering monster his reaction is always the same: he picks up the card, looks at it, pauses, "Damn it!" It's just the way that he does it is really funny.
The same guy also takes out his iPhone every time he gets a kill and plays Stone Cold Steve Austin's entrance music for 5-10 seconds.


I also have this one friend whom I play the Japanese quests with, which I've converted to Solo quests. She plays solo as the . We have this running gag on the 3 searches (traps, secret doors and treasure).
Any time she searches for traps she'll say, "What is your name?"
Searching for secret doors:"What is your quest?"
When searching for treasure: "What is your favorite color" or "What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?"
All Monty Python fans will get it.

There was also this one time we were playing while her neighbors were lighting fire crackers outside. She just managed to kill an Ogre Warrior on the rolls, immediately after I confirmed the kill with no s on my part, a firecracker went off. The POP! startled her and I blurted out "And then his head exploded!"
Her temporary anxiety quickly turned into laughter and she kept laughing for 3 minutes straight that there were even tears and her face was turning red.
So it's practically said every time we play now.
