The darken part of the blade is in shadow and should be on the lower side. Also the shadow is on the wrong side.
I think what lestodante is referring to is how the shadow abruptly cuts off. I'm guessing the dagger didn't have a lot of buffer space between the side of the dagger and the edge of the image. What I usually do is cut the item out of the image and paste it into whatever I'm working on, then add the shadow in there. This eliminates that sudden cutoff of any effects that I add. Also, your shadow is more like a glow around the image. When you add a drop shadow in PS, you can go into the options for the shadow and choose a direction for the shadow, how far away from the image it should be and how sharp it should be. Additionally, keep in mind that the image you are using looks like a sketch, but when you create a drop shadow in PS, it won't look like a sketch so it will always look a little off.
