The FB Inn group has outgrown ever other FB group out there about HeroQuest. It's amazing how quickly it grew. On the average week we get a dozen +/- requests to join.

I will give it to Anderas for keeping that place in line when I don't have time for it.

I've seen that in weeks when we admins post, there is a lot of influx, in other weeks not.

That's a good, I have to admit it is a place full of people but they're still wandering in the darkness, searching the light. I still can't justify people in 2021 asking "where can I find Kellar's Keep tiles?" or similar on the FB groups! Any google search will lead you to a dedicated forum in whatever language you speak but seems they are limited to their FB world and aren't able to visit other websites, forums or blogs.
Neither I like people posting their content in ALL the HQ groups on FB; I am into 6 or even 7 HeroQuest groups and when I open my homepage I see the post on them are all the same every day. I personally try to post, reply, like or comment only in the INN group. Hope it helps. There are a lot of content to download here and people are searching on FB, unable to see it. That is the progress and the social nework effects...

I've seen that too, a lot. I am only in four facebook groups for HQ (or is it three?) but definitely there are so many double postings that I wonder why the people bother to be in several groups at all. Yeah posting a question on facebook likely yields better results if you post that exact same question on google instead.

It is great that the FB page is so well liked, but I personally wish those people would come over here and join at the inn, as well. I don't know how drathe and moderators feel about that. Seems to me the Inn is a better place to share things. Any time I post on the FB page, I try to remember to point back here at some point in my post.

I drop a link to here every now and then, every time in fact when I see something that would have a real use behind (as opposed to just being spam ).

I don't understand why people discuss quests or rules on facebook. They disappear so very quickly there, a useful discussion is difficult.

Facebook used to have useful forums, but why keep all that useful data that anyone can find at any time when Facebook gets more advert views by making people have the same conversations over and over. I don't bother with groups at all other than a few local ones that let me know when roads are blocked or which businesses to avoid.

I do have a facebook, but I never check it, and only use it when it's necessary. For instance, that's how I had to get a hold of Mondor.
