Can you still earn champion status?

Just received my new copy of Heroquest. I had the original North American version back in 1990. I know get the pleasure of introducing my son to the game. I was wondering if you can still earn champion status and get access to drathe's awesome remastered quest books?

Yes. Make 14 substantial posts (just like getting 14 quests completed in the classic game!) and then contact one of the moderators/admins (if it still isn't showing).

Becoming a Champion will automatically be set upon your 14th meaningful post, even if a Champion group icon isn't displayed.

After your 14 post, you may have to go to your profile and turn it on though. It is on the groups tab

What makes the Usergroup icons display? I am in the Champions group, but don't see the icon.

I just got to Champion level and it was automatically set as my default usergroup (or an Admin did it for me).

Go to the forums, click on the 'User Control Panel' link in the top left corner, and then select the 'Usergroups' tab. Once I was in the Champions group I was able to go back to the forums and click and access the Champion's Table section under Special Rooms. I was able to find drathe's remasters all in there. They are excellent!!

Yeah, same here, but others have the badge under their name when they post. You don't have that either.

Mod has to put the icon but you still have the access before.
