Hello there good people of Ye Olde Inn!

Hello everybody! After visiting this site for many years I finally registrated. I am a dungeon crawl addict and for me HeroQuest is the game that started it all. I got my copy at age 9 and have been playing it ever since (I am 38 now). I also found my copy of Advanced HerQuest at my parents house last month. Back in the day I was to young to play it because it is all in english and that is not my native language, I am Dutch. But now I really enjoy the solo variant of it and I love that it has rules to use all my HeroQuest stuff in it. Other games I enjoy are Warhammer Quest (the old but also the new), Blood Bowl and Pathfinder Adventure Card game. Well don't know what to tell. If you have questions feel free to ask.

I think I wrote it wrong. I mean the solo rules that come with the game. I like AHQ as it is so I am not using any houserules or variants. Sorry for the unclearity on that one.

After reading all these posts though, I feel old. I purchased HQ at the tender age of 23, to play with my girlfriends 3 kids. It was my way of getting them in to a DnD type game.
Have managed to successfully introduce my own kids to it. Just cost 4 times more to get the same parts.
And yes, I was in my 20s when it came out her in Aus!
