In Denmark a letter is defined like this:

Min 14 x 9 cm and Max L 60 cm and L+H+W max 90 cm



So it can easily be a box that don't go through the slot. It would make sense, but being able to go through has nothing to do with anything here
From here it just depends upon the weight.

100g = £2,5
250g = £5,0

In Germany - and we're anal-retentive regulation-sticklers, everybody knows that - a letter goes up to 5cm in thickness and more than DIN A4 surface.
No problem to safely tuck a mini in there with bubble wrap and newspapers.

France surprised me with a price of 9€. I was used to german prices. But everything is more expensive here than there, so i should have known.

€8,70 uninsured apparently, but no tracking... still not cheap.

See, the thing with this is you may have to ship all across the world. And then a €2,- mini needs €18,- shipping. Happened to me twice now. As much as I'd like to join, I simply don't want to spend that much on shipping anymore. Even within my own country it would cost €7,95, because one mini would never fit in an envelope that still fits through a mailbox, and so it becomes a parcel = $$$!

I hope you do not consider it a 2 euro mini after you paint it!!!

It's a gift. It's worth a tad more than 2 of any currency.
There's work and joy and surprise in it.
I personally will not be bothered by these shipping costs once a year.
I'll eat at McDonald's one less time and that's that.
