I believe you can sign up late for a $150 vampire pledge. Still a great deal if you're okay with a character-heavy, diverse collection. Don't forget about the cool optional upgrades. I can't remember if those would be a little pricier, too.

I believe the options are priced about 20% higher for post-kickstarter backers. $25 options will be $30.

Yes, the “vampire” package is a must. Let’s hope the plastic is hard and won’t bend as fantasy flight’s miniatures where the swords looks like scimitars.

I bought some bones back when they first appeared on Reaper's site. They "feel" cheap because they're bendy, but they don't skimp on the detail. They're nothing like the flimsy plastic pre-painted stuff. Also, they say that if you paint them with their paint (I forget what it's called) it's resistant to chipping off when bending.

A lot of great minis in the Vampire option. Lots of great options too. Didn't know about Kickstarter before and there have been other great things on it I've missed out on. I'm glad this was posting on the various HeroQuest forums or I would have missed out on it too.

Yeah Kickstarter's pretty great. I've funded a bunch of stuff on there. It's nice helping people out, and then a few months later you have a new game on your doorstep. It's really become the go-to place for independent board game designers to make their dream a reality.

All told, I spent about 450 bucks on the Bones kickstarter. I went in for one of everything except for the storage case. Reaper's always been my favorite miniatures company, and for them to make this leap just to bring less expensive figures to the gamers when they didn't even have to (and in the face of another company doing the same thing but raising the price...) just makes them the absolute best, and worthy of any money I can throw at them.

Also... so many dragons!
