Well it was an exciting day at the internets today
I must be living under a rock, cause all this time I did not notice this whole new HQ thing. A friend mentioned it yesterday and this morning I anxiously googled it, only to be disappoined 5 min later

. Talking about emotional roller coaster
Well it seems to me that GZ acted quite irresponsibly and unprofessionaly at all levels. From legal research to communication. But from all this fiasco, we can be certain for one thing. Alot of people would pay good money to have HQ again. 52000 in afew days is the best proof. Its obvious that GZ tried to jump the nostalgia train (the 25th anniversary was just an emotional pressure point for the lot of us- HQ fans). Although we should not forget that Moon Design also exploited the Heroquest brand name. They might be legaly right, but from a moral stand point they also jumped the same train. They said that one of the reasons that they wont allow GZ using the HQ name (which they run to pick from the ground), is that Hasbro might implicate them in a future law suit (if GZ had not the license of Hasbro). I really cant imagine how this could be done, even in the most far fetched bureaucratic senario. What I really believe is that they afraid that Hasbro can claim back in some way the brand name, or cause some legal troubles for them. Let us not forget that Hasbro
is the Satan of the boardgame universe. GW is a kitten compared to Hasbro.
