I agree with what your saying, sajungzak. BP's can be annoying when keeping track of multiple monsters. I think I'll put that on our to-do list.

I might just have to make my own. Uh, someday.

An elegant way may be to use "dial" bases, such as the ones of the heroes in Dark World. You can turn the underlying "wheel" of the base to show up the number of BP left. You may also use bases from Heroclix or a similar game for this - the minis are cheaper (some "special" ones are ridiculous expensive, but you can stay with the commons), you don't have to destroy classic minis, and the bases are more solid and bigger. They may be too big for the squares of teh original Herquest board, however.
The most sophisticated way (just got the idea) would be to get enough spare minis for each multi-BP monster race and paint for example a small "2" on each normal orc's base, plus one wounded orc for every three or so "healthy" ones, with blood all over him, missing limbs etc., and a small "1" on his base. Every time an orc looses one bodypoint, replace him with the "wounded" figure. For 3-BP monsters you would have to paint three different minis, of course. Replacing a mini would not cost more time or efford in-game than to swich its dial or to place a token.
Have a look ;)

Ive seen rings that fit snugly around the model's base
Image

Just need to fit on a HQ base and have numbers on each ring. As a character gets wounded, swap the ring out for something else? :P

As a player I come across the very same problem with monsters BP, we will be scratching our heads to try a good solution for this one (nice hints guys!).

In the meanwhile we're going to print some ice bases for frozen horror, let's see how they come out... as soon as they're ready I'll post them here.

You could also make potion bottles (clear green or purple, as red = BP and blue = MP)

And the light blue clear ice tiles should be 1x1 tile big, with interlocking puzzle like edges so you can form an entire room with them without them shuffling about ;) tiny edges though.
Problem would be: universal sizes. But I guess you could make them 1"x1" and 1.5"x1.5" and 3cmx3cm.

The first ice tiles we're going to make are just to base Frozen Horror miniatures, let's see if we can get a cool effect (yes, light blue, no doubt ;) ). I had not thought of ice tiles to form rooms and corridors, that seems indeed very interesting, it's just a matter of finding a good solution to interlock the tiles, as you mentioned..

Ha my apologies :P and we sold out again >.<

You'll have to sell some more lazer cut markers! You are not selling to trade are you? Would be cool to stock them on the Zealot store.
