I warned and I warned and I warned and I warned. And I questioned and I asked and I inquired... Many didn't listen, GZ didn't answer, and many again didn't listen when I emphasized that GZ didn't answer. Then again, most of the backers are probably not even members here and had no way to heed any warnings that they didn't think of themselves.
GameZone were taking on the lawyers of not less than three parties. And what parties they are:
Triggerhappy Games Workshop, Monopotoy Hasbro, and Those With The Name In Commercial Use Issaries co.

Who says that?
Wanna know how GW's lawyers work?
They watch to see if any other party more dependent on the outcome orders a C&D. Just to see where everyone's hammer's hanging. If Moon Design wouldn't have done it, GW would, but very much later.

And G-K, I get where you're coming from. I hate GW from a moral standpoint as much as the next furry blue mutant (which would be The Beast), but we all know the first and foremost aspect that would be involved if they would take on the HQ 25th project. freakin' Quality.

Yes, I agree that they could do it later when the money gets credited in Gamezone’s accounts. For the best profit of course…

I guess I'm one of the few who signed up for GZ emailing about the HQ 25 project. They sent me any email. And I must say, I'm not surprised.
A quick web search will tell anyone that HQ is a registered name here in the US. And I could've guessed that there could be legal issues with that
if they were selling to the U.S. I didn't put it together myself, but it makes sense now that they have said it.

Here is the email:
Please bear with us. Gamezone and Moon Design are in a meeting negotiating a settlement for both parts at this time.

Moon Design believes that their interests in the HEROQUEST brand within the USA will be infringed upon. Although we are not distributing or selling our product in US territory. As a precaution Moon Design presented a C/D on the 27th of Nov. Our talks are coming to a point where the negotiation will benefit all those involved, which finally would let us offer our product in stores in the USA sometime next year.
The Moon Design C/D was suspended, but on the table, as another element in the negotiation. Here at Gamezone it is our hopeful understand that its activation is possibly by error as both parties where coming to an agreement. Said agreement would finally end beneficially for Fans in the USA by opening the physical distribution to stores in that country. This brief pause of activity is as harmful to the interests of Moon Design as it is to Gamezone Miniatures.

We are as surprised as the Heroquest community, we didn’t expect that on Thanksgiving, of all days, to be wrapped up in this mess, that is so disagreeable for everyone involved. On a day such as this it is extremely complicated to get in touch with Moon Design. We are working diligently on a solution so we can continue with the project from where it is at the moment and reinforce it for the future.

Thank you. Dionisio
