cynthialee wrote:For the tiles I suggest printing them to normal paper then gluing the paper to a piece of cardboard like from a cereal box. I have a pile of tiles I made in this fashion and they work great.

For what it's worth, I printed mine to A4 sticker sheets and stuck them to thick card and they're just as good as the originals.

No but we do mode podge things in this house and I wouldn't do it due to things being mod podged become a little crispy.

If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Friends used this stuff to 'protect' their Settlers of Catan tiles. It's now the worst game to play with and half the tiles have stuck to each other and the surfaces have ripped when they've been separated. That rubbish will never go anywhere near anything I own - worst product ever.

If I were producing my own cards, I'd cover them in fablon. I think you'd get far better/longer lasting results plus all those years covering your textbooks in school would finally pay off!

Thanks for the tip. The mod podge seems ok. It could be better. They are a little tacky. I just want to try using something I had around the house to save money if possible.
