eDeck

This is a simple program very useful not only for HQ but for every other game with cards. You can build a custom deck and use it on your pc, to playtest your custom cards. Another useful thing is to have multiple decks. For example, those who are GMing on play by posts without this program have to keep notes for their decks of what cards have being used.

Now with an easy way you can keep multiple decks of multiple games in your pc. This is how it works:

1. Create a folder and put images of your cards inside, for example 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, etc. These are your cards.
2. Put an image called “back.jpg” and this will be the back of your cards.
3. Open the program and give the folder you have made.
4. Now you have your deck in front of you, shuffled and ready to use.
5. Click the deck to draw a card randomly.

6. Move the cursor on the top left and two buttons will appear. The one is “Remove and Shuffle”, the other is “Shuffle”.
“Remove and Shuffle” is for cards as treasures, where you don’t want to put the card back in the deck.
“Shuffle” is for cards as traps where you want to put them back in the deck.

7. If you want to save your deck for later use, just go to the menu and press “Save State”. A “save.txt” will be created on the folder (if you want you can change its content, for example to undo a mistake).
8. There is a “Load State” also.

The program comes with all the decks of HQ’s treasure cards(NA and EU), but you can change them or make your own. The dimensions of the images are 319x472 but you don’t have to follow the same size, you can put bigger or smaller images in the same folder.

This is a good idea but as a stand alone project I don't see it getting much use. Otherwise, it looks good. Nicely done.
Unless you specify your version I'm going by the US rules.

looks cool. would definitely suit being run from a phone or tablet best. would also save people having to buy those peskey card sleeves..pack those cards away and never worry about anyone greasing them up with their dirty paws again!! also add custom cards without fear of print variations...very cool and simple idea!
