I thought the Christmas miniature trade was a great success and would like to see more "activities".
A little motivation like this spurs the creativity :-)

I agree. And it does not have to be a quest thing, as miniature trading showed. :)

We need an 'official' Sir Ragnar in my opinion. How about we enter concept drawings and then vote on them?
We could then look at getting the winning entry sculpted and cast if possible....

might be a good idea. I don't relly draw that well to be honest... I think a broader contest is fairer. drawing, painting minis, making tiles, designing a monster/card/spell...

A great mini sculpt would be the female Wizard based on the Kueker art discovered by Toco. Any of the other unrealeased art would also make a great mini. But if you're gonna go that far, why not go the extra mile and have copies of the green cast by another forum member? That way multiple prizes could be awarded with an option to buy for nonwinners...win-win.

I'm not sure making minis off these sketches are a good idea as they are IP of the artist/company.

I'm more into Sir Ragnar then.

Yeah, I was gonna say Ebay would be out for this kind of project. A little modification would make things safer, but I think Hasbro doesn't bother with fan recreations that aren't for business purposes (unlike a certain miniature company). We're small fish. Anyway, I think Sir Ragnar is also a great idea with the added 100%-safe benefit.

Sketches are owned by theit drawer, and I do not think that he would get angry if someone would do minis of these sketches. "Pleased" would suit him better. :geek:
