I think Sir Jason don't have to take the risk and step on an unexplored square. He should choose to pass, and I'll search for secret doors and traps.

Something important i forgot to mention you:
when i use a token and draw wandering monster, it appears from an unexplored corner/corridor or a closed door as i wrote in the rules. IF a door is guarded by a hero (adjacent square), no monster can enter from that door. So it would be wise here, Sir Jason to guard that door by moving there.. you decide and tell me to complete the round.
