This is so impressive, i remember reading about the cancelled expansions years ago, but never would have thought there was so much material still kept intact. I would love to help anyway i can. Even if its just donating.

Well, that was just his latest job. He did work at TSR for a few years: I guess I would get a safe job at the library and keep designing games!
Apparently, there was a connection between all the people working on the expansions, they were alla former TSR employees, and reported by one another to join in the work. I guess Hasbro made a smart move to turn to the “american GW” after the original deal failed.

I actually did a Wizards Expansion pack for Hero Quest, but it was not released in the USA.
I really liked the game also, I wish they would of continued the line.

You may want to try and find a copy of Parker/Hasbro Europe - Dungions & Dragons The Fantasy Board Game - released in 2003.
The game has more depth than Hero Quest but is still a lot of fun. It had two expansions, Eternal Winter and Forbidden Forest. The Forbidden Forest was my expansion.

I guess it is not refererd to the same WQP we are restoring.

This is from an old conversation between me and Richard Borg. He held strongly to his NDA about HeroQuest. (But that was 10 year ago.) I kept feeding him info that I DID know (like the EQP artwork from Don Kueker) to try and get any info. To no avail. Luca can now find out if the name of Richard Borg is indeed in any of the EQP notes.

Sidenote: is it a coincidence that the main characters in D&D Forbidden Forest are Elwick and Orwick, and that written notes on the page with the picture of a mountain from Luca's papers mention the name "Thornwyck"?
