Probably nothing but we probably weren't meant to see this. Seems to be placeholders in the App (I am seeing these on Bluestacks, to be fair, you might not see them on your phone):

It seems that Hasbro had with such diagram the clear intention of ilustrating that the middle Orc is in the Line of Sight of the Elf, even if they had to force a deviation of the line position from the square center of the Orc.

So... please correct me if I am wrong or somebody has more extra data, but as far as we know, then up to now there are only two different versions of the English rulebook, which are the following ones:

    - English Rulebook ref. "F3649 F3654": Included in all V1 game boxes, but maybe also included in the earliest V2 game boxes (To Be Confirmed). This rulebook has by mistake the mentioned missing line in the LoS diagram of page 14.

    - English Rulebook ref. "F2847": Included at least in all V2 game boxes sold since Jan/2023 up to now, but maybe it has been included in all V2 game boxes, including the earliest ones (To Be Confirmed). This rulebook includes all the lines in the LoS diagram of page 14 as per classic's LoS diagram.
...

About this old topic I would like to comment that Hasbro official website has both versions of the Rulebook to be downloaded by free for anyone interested in the following links:

English Rulebook Version 1, ref. "F3649 F3654"
English Rulebook Version 2, ref. "F2847"

I have found another errata -only- in Spanish version of PoT expansion, which are the following ones:

I have updated the errata summary here according to the data written on this post.

Found another Errata in EQP: Mage of the Mirror (1992)... spoilers:

Quest 7, Gliness Fen: Note D shows the Treasure Chest in orange, but the note doesn't describe any trap. The draft notes indicate that the Portcullis is supposed to slam shut once a hero steps inside the room beyond and only the Brass key can open it again (this trick removed from the published version, you just open the portcullis with the key and it stays open).

The 2023 Remake edition does nothing to change this.

I was also thinking about "Restore Dread." It's hard to figure out what they were going for here, because the first time it is introduced (in Quest 5) there's really no opportunity to use it to its full extent, while in Quest 9, it could be used under the old EQP rules (as "Restore Chaos," in the 1992 original where the Ogre had 10 body points instead of 5). If the spell was imagined to restore body points to "any" monsterS rather than just a single monster (meaning it EITHER restores all its BP to the spell caster, meaning it will waste some since that means restoring a maximum of 3 OR it could restore its full six against monsters, plural within LOS) , it might make more sense otherwise. There are no general rules for monsters to use "death saves" but that could be another interesting solution in those two cases, but it wouldn't be maximized in the case of either boss character (having only 4 BP max).

After several weeks of silence (I guess due to the Hasbro Company issue), the official Avalon Hill channel of Discord has been fortunatelly activated again yesterday by the participation of HQ Game Designer Doug Hopkins (there 'WanderingMonster'), and he posted some official clarifications about how to play with the Monk Hero, which are the following ones:

Playing the Monk by Doug Hopkins

Once per turn, choose one technique to activate. After you use a technique, that Elemental Style is exhausted.

Once per turn. Most of the Monk’s techniques are usable only on their turn but Twisting Torrent can be activated on a monster’s turn because the ability specifically allows you to, “Activate this technique when you take damage.”

For example, on the monk’s turn they could activate Speak with Stone to search for secret doors and traps as one action. Later on a monster’s turn, that same Monk could use Twisting Torrent to defend against an attack. Once per turn is the key here - If a future product introduced a potion to recover a style, you still couldn’t use it twice on the monks turn.

If there are no monsters in your line of sight at the start of your turn, recover all exhausted Elemental Styles.

I wanted this Monk hero to be fun for heroes and Zargons alike.

Heroes, the Monk has an adaptable playstyle. When danger isn’t present, use your out of combat styles to great effect. In combat, decide to quickly work up to your Fire style or weave in and out of battle to maximize your offensive Earth/Air styles and defensive Water style! The more defensive heroes can assist you by blocking monsters so you can recover styles as needed.

Zargon, make sure to challenge those Monk players! Monks don’t have the defensive capabilities of the other characters. When I play Zargon, I love to constantly challenge our Wizard and Monk players. If the heroes don’t protect these characters, I can drain away their precious resources. Monsters like goblins are speedy enough to get in front of a Monk to prevent them from recovering styles!

Great to hear, and we do play it like this. I understand others will want to play him differently, doing various things like making Twisting Torrent only work on the Monk's turn as an action, requiring an action to restart styles, or allowing him to wear bracers (old "metal" armor interpretation prior to release), etc. and that of course is fine.

Another brief clarification given by Doug Hopkins via official Discord channel of Avalon Hill about how to use the Monk:

You must use any style in the same turn it is activated, you may not bank powers using the Monk.

New Errata in Prophecy of Telor RETAIL release.

Prophecy of Telor retail errata
Quest 9
Note D
Mythic: It speaks In a haunting voice. "Go beneath the altar room to the Arena of Misildia."
Retail: It speaks in a chilling whisper. "Go beneath the room to the Arena of Misildia."

Which room? It’s clearer in the Mythic book as it identifies the “alter room”

Quest 10
Note G
Mythic: No spells, MAGIC weapons, armor, or equipment may be used in the arena.
Retail: No spells, artifacts, or equipment may be used in the arena.

By dropping the word “magic” it makes the rule sound as if the heroes are supposed to fight completely unarmed. It doesn’t supply the rules for unarmed fighting (like we see in the base game quest 6) and it doesn’t make sense for the lore/story of the Arena. The Arena is supposed to make magic inert, not steal your weapons. The original Mythic text makes sense. The Retail text does not.

Thanks,

I have also found an errata in PoT questbook, exclusive from retail version (Mythic Tier book is correct), which is the following one:

Page 24: The map shows 3 Bookcase icons by mistake becaise only 2 Bookcase models were included in Game System box. Upper right icon should have been a Cupboard one according to Mythic Tier quesrbook of Prophecy of Telor.

In the other hand, these days I also noticed that missing Gargoyle icon on page 33 of the first version of Game System's questbook was added in the V2 version of the book as correction.

Finally, another brief clarification given some days ago by Doug Hopkins via official Discord channel of Avalon Hill about the Monk card asterisk errata:
