I am confused here. The original game says a Hero always roll 2 combat dice when attacking a threat. But he needs to roll AT LEAST the symbols shown on the character's card.
Example: the Barbarian is attacking a Chaos Warrior: he rolls 2 dice and he needs just 1 skull to defeat it. 75% chances of success (27 of 36 if I am not wrong)
Reading your rules, it seems he must roll only 1 die and must get 1 skull. He has now only 50% chances to success (3 of 6).Odanan wrote:Heal a Wound. Roll the indicated number of dice (one or two) to try to remove a Wound

There is a repetition in the first two lines of text.
And again they must roll two dice, not as many dice as shown.Odanan wrote:Search for treasure. Roll the indicated number of dice (one or two) to try to find a

In the original game you must roll two dice and obtain ANY symbol except a Black Shield to have a successful search. (so if your result is 2 skulls or 2 white shields or 1 skull+1 white shield it's ok)
