Don't forget pixie can reveal the secret door and then you can go through it. So many ways to oops that up.
A quick fix would be to swap the fimirabomination with a chaosdread warrior and then on the other side of the board drop the single chaosdread warrior and replace it with a fimiran abomination.

I didn’t see any single room that had more miniatures than was included in the main set. Which room that you would be able to get to had more? Everything looks to be okay from a clearing an area perspective, or is behind a secret door that can’t be opened when a monster is in the room.

I meant in terms of miniatures overall. Of course the old rule applies... if you kill these monsters in a room/corridor, boom, you've got more figures available for the next one. If they don't clear them all out though (run away! or you spilt up and go exploring), you're going to run out of Chaos... oops, I mean "Dread" Warriors, since there's no extras featured in the KK, ROTWL or "unlocks" for those. This quest has five of them (granted, four are clustered together, so you probably will have killed them before you run into that problem... and you'd use another Gray figure to fill in any gap).

4 mummies (ROTWL has it covered) <--- "White"
6 Abominations aka Fimirs (KK has it covered) <---"Green"
10 Goblins plus Wandering Monster is Goblin (KK has it covered) <---"Green"
5 "Dread" warriors (1 short, one is far away from the others) <---"Gray"

The old rule was a Monster of the same color can substitute if you run out! (hence we need "colors" don't we?). Later quest packs (EQP/BQP) said it should be of "similar strength" (probably because so many of the characters in those packs were blue).

Zargon has the final say in resolving Quest hiccups in any case, but it doesn't hurt to point those facts out!

Did I mention that it felt like this map should be played as a "can you handle the expansions?" and not "can you adventure at all?"

It's to break your back and keep you humble...but hopefully so it doesn't scare off new players like The Trial tended to do sometimes...

Now this particular Quest would be a lot easier under EU rules (Potions of healing are 4, not 1-6, though there is one less in the Treasure deck, but ALL monsters are only 1 BP!).

Have you tried it with the new heroes? Their additional healing might come in handy.

So we need the Mentor figure for this quest... meaning it's part of Mythic Tier. Since "Mentor" is a limited time exclusive, does that mean the Quest is unplayable outside of those who pledged?

Or are we going to just play it using the "Dread Sorcerer" as the stand in? (Again, it's an imposter, not the real Mentor, don't trust him!!!)

Other than that it looks like something that could be fun to play around with. The Heroes don't get unlimited revives, but at least three guaranteed saves (unless they've adjusted the contents of the Treasure deck of course). The Wizard and probably the Elf still have their spells to (most likely) revive with (unused healing spell can save you from death IF you haven't yet used an action on that turn).

If any Heroes die (for real) on this quest anyway, you come back for free the next one though (you'd need at least one Hero to complete it). IF there is a next time...

I take it the Gargoyle has only one random Chaos Spell (not for every turn!) that doesn't count as an action. This means he may draw "Summon Orcs" Or "Summon Undead" which means more minis get used...

The website states

The gargoyle Gor-Garak, has a Dread Star Amulet. Shuffle all the Dread spells and randomly cast one before the gargoyle takes its turn

Which means I believe it would be once per turn, not just once per game. If that Gargoyle doesn't go down fast, it will be quite fun to watch (for Morcar at least!)

Spelling error in your quest description.

Are you planning on fixing their issue? IE The lack of appropriate font?
