My "complete package" website

Ages ago I kept myself active at the site called Agin's Inn. Back then I gathered and published what I called a "complete package" of all tiles/books produced for HeroQuest on my website http://heroquest.no-ip.com. Since the files was hosted on my home DSL I felt I had to put a limit on the downloads, so I tied the downloads to a FTP server. After that, my HeroQuest activity dropped and eventually turned to nil, but I kept the website up. I remember getting e-mails back then whenever the FTP went down. Then my FTP server seriously crashed and I gave up keeping the site functional. I bet many were convinced that the site was down forever since it was just a HTML page with broken links.

Well, recently I picked it back up and dusted it off. I threw the idea of using an FTP server out of the window since my home DSL is faster, more stable and more reliable now. All the links are now direct downloads, directly hosted on the webserver. It might not be the fastest download imaginable, and it might go slow once in awhile, but at least it works. Not that I think anyone needs them, but the completist in me decided to add the tape edition of HeroQuest and the Witch Lord expansion for C64 as well as WHDLoad editions of HeroQuest 1/2 for Amiga.

I thought I should ask here though... I just do not know if the website is needed anymore. I have no idea what have happened in this community since I left (at least I see it have a different name now). There might be better places to find the files now, there might be better scans, I do not know. So I thought I should ask here if http://heroquest.no-ip.com is a useful site to have around. If it is, I keep it, if it isn't, I might take it down for good. Of there's outdated editions on the page I am interested to hear that too.

Actually, it still gets quite a bit of use, even when the links were broken. I say keep it up and running for as long as you can. Should you decide one day that you no longer wish to keep it going, drop us a line. Many of your files will have a welcome home here at the Inn.

Unless something happens to me (crashed computer, crashed economy, death, whatever) the server will stay online then.

For the past couple of years it have been hosted on my spare computer that is also used for a lot of other tasks. The computer is always on and I have no intention disassembling it except for an occasional hardware/software upgrade.

When I started the server my upstream was 64kbit, now it's 3mbit, so an occasional download doesn't have as much impact on me as it used to.

I'm planning on adapting the full NA rules for my current playing group, and to do so, I need to print the NA booklets. The current Inn PDF's are in the NA format though, and I would like to be able to print all the quests etc on simple A4, double sided. So the question is: are the NA questbooks from all NA sets available in A4 (or letter) format? I like to bind my books together, so I can make one big book from all sets, instead of having 7 seperate booklets laying around. ATM I'm looking for only KK and RotWL.

So to be clear: I want the quest map with the quest notes together on one vertical page each

I did get the main game book like this from Bradley Boruch's scans, and also the EQP and BQP, but KK and RotWL are untouched scans in jpg. Not the best quality.

I've hit this page numerous times, and always forget that everything on there comes in a .rar file type.

Can anyone help me out here...how do you open those file types?

I have all the American books scanned (which were used for the Inn files). Each page is saved as a separate jpg file. If you want copies of them, you may resize and arrange them however you wish. Let me know. PM is best.
