The pixie technically sounds like they could search in a room prior to entering a room, and doesn’t indicate that it’s limited by the “monsters are in the room can’t search”.

The shapeshift is slightly stronger than the Earth spell group I'll admit, but then...you have nothing else. The wizard who is generally considered the weakest hero at least has an additional 2 spell groups to select from

The druid should definitely have either the shapeshift buffed or have additional spells...if not from Hasboro then I'm sure people here can come up with more ideas

*Edit - Pixie also needs to be changed as this is just a duplicate action or a 2 BP heal

Both correct. Also seems possible to combine searching multiple areas at once that are all in LoS, if I’m also reading that correctly.

To answer some questions here about the utility of the search, since we’re using NA rules for the rerelease, searching for traps and searching for secret doors are two separate and different actions. Combining both in this single action frees up an action for another player. Many possibilities to multitask with a single action here!

I also think so... she can be in a corridor beetween two open doors and search both rooms at the same time (rare to happen). Or she can be in a room full of monsters and hidden traps. So she can search for traps even with the monsters in by using the spell.
The description says she can use no METAL armour but she can use other weapons. I imagine her bearing a Battle Axe and using +1 from Shapeshift...
Can it be? Or no?

Orc-bard is like strange characters in Tekken: Kuma, Panda, Roger, Alex, Gon, Ogre, Devil, Angel... none of them should fit a martial arts videogame but they are in and a lot of people love to use them. Well, this is probably why I don't play Tekken anymore since years!

Nice catch. I was looking at that spell and thinking it was useless, until I saw your post.

Rock Skin is done after 1BP of damage, plus you don't get it back. Shapeshift also adds an attack dice and you DO get it back (if the correct conditions are met). So that and the +4BP from Lifeforce, seems equally and more powerful than Earth Spells.
It's Pixie I don't get: Heals 2BP on any hero or search. It's the "or search" that I don't get.
Search for traps and secret doors in line of sight? Couldn't the druid just perform that search herself without asking the pixie to do it?

Maybe the Pixie can do the search while monsters are present. I thought that was a search restriction before.

I really like these Druid spells. Doesn't seem too overpowered or underpowered to me.

Edit: oops, everyone else replied on the next page.

Also, maybe this spell means they are tweaking the NA rules so that you search for traps and secret doors in a single action also?

Druid spells seem fine. Considering the shapeshift can be re-acquired twice (potentially) with her own heal-style spells, and more with potions + teammate heals, she should see quite a bit of 'beastform' action in a game.

Also, considering what GimmeYerGold said above, I think that the search move might be quite powerful if it's done from a strategic location. Could end up simultaneously searching hallways + several rooms in one move.

Leaked cards for the Druid! Unfortunately they were later replaced with the actual ones to follow the new character's restyling.
