Maybe she’s doing some of that Ring-Fit stuff? Maybe it’s more of a Dungeon Cardio Fight-Club? “The first rule of Dungeon Cardio Fight-Club is you don’t talk about dungeon cardio fight-club!”

The barbarian never worried me being shirtless, his skin is probably so thick it's a good enough barrier between the sword and anything vital. The sandals though worry me. That barbarian is gonna lose his little toe and be off balance for the rest of the quest.

Oh lord, the Bard is modelled as an orc  . There goes the last toe-hold of the old world that original Heroquest was set in. It’s the same game as the original, but it will have an entirely different feel to the old dungeons.

Oh no. I refuse to accept orcs as anything other than evil minions of Zargon/Morcar.

His only goal is to sing songs, and do cracking unboxings!

Well. We all know that the barbarians actually worship the gods of chaos. And elves and dwarves were never best of friends. It is always good to be open minded about our fellow adventurers. You never know when you’ll need some help getting out of the pit you got stuck in... that had the spiky stakes in the bottom.

At least it will potentially make for fun banter around the table. Just give the bard to whomever sings worst at the gaming table. (I wonder if they could do a “distract the orc enemies” to avoid being attacked ... they are orcs.)

I'm just more worried about it making the game feel more like d&d. Orc bards are great in d&d, but HeroQuest, to me, feels like they shouldn't be there.

That’s entirely a fair assessment. It’s going to be interesting to see where Hasbro/MB takes the lore. I’m personally not sold on the new models for either the warlock (her arms look like thin sticks and the face is oddly proportioned [edit: though that might have just been the initial render on the site]) and the Druid model looks out of place, I’d have expected something more “wood elf” or human ‘tribal shaman’ look.
The bard is definitely not as much swords and sorcery and Warlocks tended towards “evil”. It’s a solid shift towards a high-fantasy and away from the ‘grim darkness’ of the prior setting.
