I wonder if they have any more stretch goals than the ones we've seen? Normally you would tease new ones as you unlock the early ones.
My bet is the show stops with the Stephen Baker questbook.
I think they have calculated how much this thing can drive home, and quite frankly I don't think we're gonna surpass it with a whole lot.

Agreed... but! I think in many ways an expansion like Wizards of Morcar was really good. The campaign was pretty short, but it gave us an handful of new creatures, a new concept with the mercenaries and last but not least a whole load of new spells.
It was much more a new toolbox than a campaign. That's what I'm really hoping for. Lot's of new tools.
Tools that are uniform in execution and artstyle.
Seriously, I'd think I'd almost take a card pack with new equipment, artifacts and spell schools over a a remake of the original expansions.

Agree... when something is officially released everybody accept it as a canon. Then you can work on such stuff and create new content.
Apart all the critics and dissense I feel against this project I am very curious to see the final product and the upgrades they tals about. Especially the Prophecy of Telor questpack I am really interested in.
In the end I can always replace the miniatures with my favourite ones!

I would definitely order some.

They haven't shown us the Druid, and they mentioned a $4m stretch goal of another quest book with a unique boss miniature, didn't they? At the rate things have slowed down, I'm fairly positive we won't be hitting that point, but I certain hope to be proven wrong. I suspect upon hitting $2m they're going to reveal stretch goals up to $3m, and that the plan was to reveal goals up to $4m if we hit $3m.

Again another drop. Still is easily going to hit the 2million goal, maybe they need to add some more goals to increase interest.

That's about another $200,000 to go... is there a deadline for when they need to reach it?

Still have 33 days until the fundraising ends.

Oh, yeah, in that case, they'll make it.

The white dice will be here tomorrow. If I can sell enough of these within the next few weeks, I'll go a head and order black dice before next month.

Quick guys, give them another $3 million "just to see" if there are any new stretch goals with bonus content! J/k

There's nothing wrong with criticizing some of the decisions made here. After all, aren't we their target audience (or a representative sampling at the very least)? If they can answer our questions and give us something we want, they make a sale. We don't owe them any special loyalty just because they're using a brand we like for what it did in the past.

I would say the same thing if this were any other franchise being revived for nostalgia as well. I do wish them the best. Some of the things they're doing I like, others I don't much care for. Again, having nice looking minis that don't quite fit with this game is mild compared to keeping a good version of the rules and the core content intact which they show all intents of doing.

So far there has been no attacking of the fans (or orders to attack the fans from those in charge) which is a great thing nowadays. This happens with far too many franchises. If you don't be a brand loyalist fanboy, they come after you and say you're a bad person (taking no responsibility themselves for any oversights or failings). The goal is to capture your audience and make money, bottom line.

You hear that Hasbro? So learn from the mistakes of these past franchise remakers who ended up ruining and toxifying their audiences. Don't let that happen to HeroQuest! We're talking now, but the general public still doesn't know this even exists and will have no clue about it until after it hits store shelves (and probably the Christmas season 2021 when most people get their hands on it). THEN you will hear the good AND the bad. Take responsibility. Listen to your audience. But don't listen to those who would undermine the core of the game (say, with politics), which is what really matters. It's the details, and how easily people will be able to obtain the game when it comes out, that really matter. An unreasonable criticism would be like "this game sucks because it's not D20," while a reasonable one is "Mentor is not Zargon" or "not everyone, possibly not even most buyers, will paint all their miniatures... so differentiate them by color").

Sounds like the folks over at LucasFilm. ;) They blamed me because I didn't like their product. Honestly, I don't think that will be the case with this (hopefully). Either way, a fresh coat of paint is what this game could use. Some of it, I'll use and other parts will probably modify. Time will tell. Either way, I'm going to make this a good experience based on what I see. It would help if they released some commercials but now that it is funded, perhaps they will release advertisement when they get close to release in Fall 2021.
