Is it wrong that I’m excited for updated dice?? I think I remember reading that their not just painted, but instead carved into the dice. Carved is the wrong word, so is embossed. Debossed?? Either way, getting a second set is dope.

Were the old dice made of wood? There was something so satisfying with how the rolled. I hope they can recreate the feel of the original dice. I know that seems silly or inconsequential. But the dice always stood out to me.

I'm of a split opinion on the new dice. I like the new black shield and white shield icons. The new skulls I don't like so much. The style is a strong resemblance to the spanish sugar-skull (just without the decorations). In my mind that style just doesn't fit with the high-fantasy of HeroQuest. It's not a dealbreaker by any means, but I like to old skulls waaay better.

I only have one set of the original HeroQuest dice that happened to come with a set that I bought off of ebay. I was quite pleased to find that they appeared to be originals, still in their unbroken plastic wrap, and in pristine condition. I couldn't bring myself to open the package, they were to pretty, too preserved, and I didn't want to mess that up!
So... I scoured the internet for HeroQuest dice, the only ones I came across that weren't killer expensive were from a guy that makes custom dice on Etsy. I got them, and despite the dice facing being wrong, and not even matching each other, and icons being off-center, and the lazer engraving having minor imperfections.... I'm still pretty happy with them. I painted them too. Here, check 'em out:

I really like the black and red dice. Would be a cool boss dice set of there was an extra black shirts on it or an extra skull

Day 1: $1,000,000 (actually hit 1 million 30min before 24 hours)
Day 2: $267,000 in Sales
Day 3: $151,000 in Sales
Day 4: $102,000 in Sales
Day 5: $65,000 in Sales
Day 6: $52,500 in Sales
Day 7: $39,698 in Sales
Day 8: $43,647 in Sales
Day 9: $38,097 in Sales
Day 10: $34,048 in Sales
Day 11: $26,248 in Sales

Again another drop. Still is easily going to hit the 2million goal, maybe they need to add some more goals to increase interest.

That's about another $200,000 to go... is there a deadline for when they need to reach it?

I ordered the set of black dice and white dice for just that purpose. Only I decided to paint my black dice red, there's no reason you couldn't paint them white if you wanted to. Since there seems to be some interest, I'm going to go ahead and share this:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/229804412/custom-made-dice-replacement-dice?ref=shop_home_active_6&crt=1

If you want the exact same thing (my order was custom-made), you can ask him to look up an order by arntisdale.

The dice are acrylic, not wood.

I have 3000 14mm, white, wooden reproduction combat dice on the way along with red movement dice. They are at FedEx in Indianapolis Indiana currently. I'm going to order black dice with white logos next month. |_P
