I don’t see an issue with it being a female Hero. Just hoping there will be a male alternative too. I play with my daughter and 2 sons and I could see them wanting the new Hero type just cause it’s new. (The boys would never use a cootie girl figure)

Yeah,same hear.
Except I have 2 daughters and 1 son so alternate characters of all heroes would be greatly appreciated.
One of the biggest things driving me nuts is why bare feet on the barbarian???
Also the elf ears???....other than that I’m pretty okay with the rest of what I’ve seen so far.

If a post is violating Inn rules, please just report it. I'm not gonna scout through 60 pages to figure out which post(s?) you are talking about.
We have some strong opinions going on, but so far nothing out of bounds. I suggest we leave it at that. This conversation is derailing a great thread.

Remember, it's okay to be critical of design decisions. Just be respectful and play the ball and not the (wo)man.

I for one am not impressed by the new quest where you explore ancient magical orc civilization and have orcs joining your party.
Why does everybody need to ruin orcs by making them noble, but misunderstood creatures?
Games Workshop seems like the only company left that just embraces orcs as violent destructive hooligans.

Right! What's an orc without his WAAAUGH!
I'm totally okay with the new orcs, but that's because I'm going to call them something else and give them new stats, and use my original orcs as orcs! :D

So anywho (take 2),

Is it wrong that I’m excited for updated dice?? I think I remember reading that their not just painted, but instead carved into the dice. Carved is the wrong word, so is embossed. Debossed?? Either way, getting a second set is dope.

Were the old dice made of wood? There was something so satisfying with how the rolled. I hope they can recreate the feel of the original dice. I know that seems silly or inconsequential. But the dice always stood out to me.

Decipher is about to get a whole shipment that match the originals, and accepting orders. And yes, they are made of wood. The dice stood out to most of the HeroQuest fans, not many games come with wooden dice. I hope the new version are still wood.
