But if we buy this product at that clearly too high price Hasbro can think the other way: HQ fans will buy whatever product at whatever price. Hasbro is quite known for his rising prices in a lot of toy lines like Star Wars. Indont want HQ to stop beign a more oor less cheap game.

Yes, that is very true for well established lines and brands. Fans didn't support that reeva lightsaber Kickstarter so Hasbro knew they messed up. Heroquest doesn't have that much of an ability to course correct as a well established line like Star Wars.

It sounds a bit like blackmail: if you dont buy this overpriced thing we could finish the line...

Absolutely agree 100 percent! It's just the world we live in. If things aren't selling as much as they like, they'll just abandoned the line. Look at the recent Indiana Jones line they did. Already seems dead after just about a year (or less I think). Same thing happened to OG HQ. Fans always get the short end of the stick.

I'm no marketing genius nor do I have inside info, but couldn't we draw a distinction between the already released material continuing to sell, vs. new expansions falling below expectations? It would seem like that might spell the end of elaborate new content, but not that HeroQuest would completely disappear from stores.

Probably next week I'll start the pack
About the new camouflage mechanic, is useful or fundamental for success some quest, or not?

Useful in a small number of situations, but the quest limits when disguise is available.

Yes, it is not a used that much, but just adds to the atmosphere of some quest starts. It would actually make little difference if you didn't even use the rules as they are not compulsory even when allowed.

I disagree. They are used as a consistent mechanic through quests 2-5 I believe and can really impact the heroes experience. If you are disguised certain enemies won’t attack you, and a disguised hero can “insta-kill” some enemies just by being adjacent. Furthermore, being in disguise changes the wandering monster you’ll encounter in specific quests. In all, it either creates a quest where you are either primarily fighting Elves Or alternatively, more likely to encounter other monster types while slipping past the elves. The choice might be a hard one though, because in order to slip past those elves, you have to limit your weapon use to smaller and weaker weapon, thus further impacting your experience in combat and of the quest. In my book, it was a smart and interesting use of the mechanic providing the heroes with an interesting choice that could impact the entire quest.
