Does anyone have a link to a recording of the HeroQuest panels from Pulsecon? I wasn't able to watch live and I can't find videos, just people talking about what was covered. I'd like to see it myself.

Absolutely and I really don't understand it as mainland European. The goal would be reached in no time, seriously! Europeans would easily double the amount of current backers. What's Hasbro's problem? Is it Games Workshop, so they still hold some special European rights on the HQ brand? That could be solved, I'm sure about it. I really don't get it, why they exclude so many of the old fanbase. HQ in Europe was really popular back in the days...not only in GB, but also in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, etc.

So if we don't hit $4mn does that mean Joe's work will never be released? I sure hope not! It would be nice if they sent updates to backers to keep us engaged, and had a comment system. Also I hope that their system supports add-ons otherwise I fear we wont even hit $2mn.

Crowdfunding normally goes by a U-curve. Many fund it the first day, then less the second... and so on. In the middle, few people join. By the end, when it is clear how many and which add-ons there will be, a lot join again, the last day mostly copying the first.

So I guess this crowdfunding will go up to 3 or 4 million.

My bet, based on the Pulse event, is they are planning a lot for this game system, after the crowdfunding ends. I bet the put it to retail and new content down the road. Joe M’s quests, Steve bakers and even more. The only difference is if we hit $4mm, we get all this stuff for the $150 rather than buy it separately at retail.

I agree that if this were open worldwide we would have hit it already. There’s likely a legal reason they have to do so which we won’t know immediately.

Wouldn't it be sad if somehow Gamezone prevented Hasbro from releasing this outside of North America?
It would also be freaking hilarious (In the laughing because if not I would be throwing my laptop through a brick wall king of way) if the only thing Gamezone did properly was the legal stuff that screwed over fans.

[It was Gamezone that did the 25th anniversary RipoffQuest right?]

With Mentor and the Witch Lord, I'd say there is more than a passing resemblance to the sorcerer from Disney's Sorcerer's Apprentice Mikey Mouse short in Fantasia, and the Horned King from Disney's Black Cauldron. Not enough for lawyers to get in a tissy over though.
