In the card, replace "evil wizard" with "Evil Wizard player's".
Otherwise, great card, and the art isn't too bad. The background is so vague that it doesn't distract from the bog idea.

So, just bumping this old tread a little bit, in hopes that the "appreciation" here for Fimirs might show itself in our 25th anniversary quest pack. eh, eh?

My ideas revolve around Kobold Dragonpriests and Dragonshields flooding the swamps and convinving the Fimir that the Great Wyrm is supposed to be awakened somewhere deeper in the bog where even the Fimir who worship dragons in general and the Great Wyrm in particular didn't think it is. Of course, the two factions work together grudgingly to find the resting place, all under the eye of Morcar who wants the body of the Great Wyrm as a vassal all for himself (his essence), sending his chaos henchmen to steal the surprisingly young and little dragon thingie. Morcar finds out it fell mystically asleep as a mere hatchling (or was "convinced" to do so) and abducts it into the chaos wastes for the beastmen and chaos dwarfs who have been called from their own industrious purposes in their own bloody brass city to watch over it and for their practitioners of magic and science to find ways to accomplish Morcar's plan.

I like it! Especially the theme of a flooded swamp where Fimir dwell; coincidentally something I'm working with in the homebrew campaign I'm running! Great minds...

The gory n' gothic mission of retrieving a big dragon skeleton is really cool! And it turns out to be a baby wyrm? Both are perfect because the first prevents there from being a full-blown living dragon monster in the HQ game, and the second, because haha, a baby wryrm is small enough to be carried in a hero's inventory, if the case ever arises. Sort of like the last Metroid?

Exactly. I've already posted stats for a Dragon Hatchling in the appropriate thread, along with the other main monster types for the outline I came up with after we did a poll for the monster types.
basically, the heroes have to
- find out why kobolds go into the bog in such numbers
- find out where the dragon is (and prevent it to be awakened)
- find out where it's taken and by whom
- find it and fight through trial and error and champions and representatives of all races under Morcar's wing
- find out Morcar's plans with the Dwarf Daemonsmiths and Beastman bray Shamen
- prevent the dragon to serve as Morcar's vassal
