Wow, that's a big decrease. Just checked the website, cost to Canada just went from $135USD to $30USD for the Mythic Tier.

That is what happens when you actually ask your shipping company how much things will cost instead of asking Ed from the Janitorial team... (Is it obvious that I have no love for Hasbro?)

Joe spilled some beans, so I'm glad he was part of the stream. He mentioned some of the possible upcoming content, including some new furniture! Also at least one new boss monster for his Quest Pack stretch goal was mentioned, so more monsters are planned! I expect the Prophecy of Terror Quest Pack will get similar treatment.

Though the rest of the team was cagey, Joe's question about other (licensed) property being considered for development makes me wonder if he is suggesting D&D monsters will be tapped. Better yet, maybe it's a reference to Wizards of Morcar and Against the Ogre Horde (one can hope.)

Also, extra content to change the rules is down the line. Maybe in the form of expansion rules, I imagine.

The new box art features some Zombies with what may be two-handed cleavers. I wonder if those will also see release?

More Abomination sculpts were mentioned, however!

If there ARE people whose lives revolve around D&D, like Joe's does, that AREN'T aware of HeroQuest, they are a very, very small slice of the pie.

Visually I'm not finding this as captivating as the original, but that could be due to the nostalgia, as a child everything was better. But really, what is up with the Barbarian in sandels?

If it's just a remake of the original, good on them for expanding the fanbase. But I've got 2 complete boards at home, which I'd continue playing with.

What I am looking forward to is this new Quest Pack they're putting Baker behind. Maybe even the evental possible remake of the Dwarf and Wizard quest pack... maybe even a playtested version of the Barbarian and Elf packs. These, perhaps may one day be converted back to the original HeroQuest map layout.

It’s pretty exciting to get another official Hero as an option. Now just need a male version of it too.

Nah, you can take care of that pretty quick with a little file. Might need to order two copies though, it's not reversible.
