Yes, they do.

I was considering giving them out in Kellar’s Keep since you don’t get anything good in that pack, but you could easily plant them in various other places if the heroes are in need of more artifact weapons, depending on how well equipped the group is that is planning on playing RotDM.

A Ring of Fortitude is given as a reward for completing online quest "New Beginnings." However we ARE getting Prophecy of Telor and Spirit Queen's Torment in retail later this year, so those artifacts will be found, but yeah, put them wherever you want. I have my heroes find them all within the Frozen Horror (needed all they help they could get!).

Check out the list of Artifact Locations. Crypt of Perpetual Darkness had its own two artifacts, Crown of Shadows and Dragon Spear which were only included in the Mythic box and only found in that quest book. If that ever comes out in retail, we'll see those again...

I just noticed the Knight figure on the back of the box is a different pose than the one in the box. I assume the picture on the box is a prototype, but the pose is a little better, and more of a combat stance. Its a shame the final figure is different.

I hadn't noticed that, good eye!

The right foot is forward in the box image and back in the final version. The cape is thrown back a little more in the box image and curls forward more in the final version in plastic. The pose is most similar to the female GK in the limited release plastic.

I have already mentioned it in the errata thread. Don't you see suspicious the rules of Ogre Grog? I would think some text is missing in the card. Maybe it has some protection effects during the whole turn if drunk and no Mind point is lost?

I don’t think there is supposed to be any benefit to the Ogre Grog except for selling it for 10 gold pieces. I think its supposed to be a “dud” item.

With that being said, since there are currently 20 cards in the Alchemy deck, you could make a list of the potions from 1 to 20 and roll a d20 instead of drawing cards to see what you end up with. I think we could all agree the Ogre Grog would be the result of rolling a 1 on the 20-sided die.

Yeah that's the other option, it could make sense, but I saw this card a bit vague, honestly.

I apologize in advance if it isn't allowed or this is the wrong thread or location, but I created a Sir Ragnar Hero card if anyone is interested, found here: https://1drv.ms/i/s!At0Wyqw05gfT6BLfjU7NdPhV5JDz?e=qUSIEB
Image
The template is Odanan's, of course, with the art being a blending of the concept art and final character art in the quest book. It isn't professional quality, but hopefully it does the job for those who would like to use it.

Nice! Came out great!

Also, some Dread Moon themed dice and dice tray were given away at Gen Con apparently. As per Reddit.

EDIT: As posted on Reddit: "They are only available at GenCon from the Avalon Hill booth with purchase of Heroquest or an expansion."

So they may not be seen plentifully on the after market or if so only in small supply.

Also added another image.

One redditor said it correctly... "Why does Avalon Hill make it so hard for me to throw my money at them?" LOL

I'll just wait until someone on Etsy makes a version of these. They already have red, blue, green variants etc.. available on there anyway.
But again, boggles my mind that AH doesn't do more stuff like this because people would buy it. The type of dice used in HQ is exclusive to them right? They don't have to pay for the design or anything ? I dunno, is AH a new company or something? Do they not understand market demand?
