It is at $998,000 now not even 24 hours after opening. I feel like this is excellent news for Heroquest fans, as there will be new vigor for the game and interest and all that. Plus, with this level of success were bound to get more and new expansions!

So I just confirmed with Hasboro chat person that the shipping is estimated to be Fall 2021. Also, I noticed that the recommended age is 14+ not 10 like the original. Is the game more mature, or are kids more coddled now and this game is too "violent" for under 14s?

Good read with some additional info about possible more stretch goals and world wide release next fall.

This is definitely happening, not that I ever doubted it would.
Quite honestly folks, I'm looking forward to the new set of minis. In my mind I was thinking this opened up the possibility to mod out two types of most creatures. The new HQ orcs could easily be renamed and a new monster created. The zombie has a sword and shield, so maybe I can have a diagonal attacking defensive zombie by design. The new mummy looks not like the slow terrifying mummy of the original, but an insane berserker mummy. Point is, I can do whatever I want with the new minis. The difference in bases bothers me not at all, and as for the gray? Well, I'm jumping into this painting thing, and this'll keep me busy till I've got grandkids!
I'm loving the new black n white card art that I've seen so far, and quite a bit if it will likely make it into modded cards. Still gotta have my expanded equipment & treasure deck, right? (plus all the other decks that I'm still workin on, but school started and messed up my progress :x )
I almost talked myself into getting 2 mythic tiers, but it seems there's no price break for shipping if you order more, they just double the shipping
I'm definitely getting one Mythic Tier, and then I'm going to wait. I'll see this in the future on Amazon or at Target, and can get another copy then without paying an insane amount of shipping, and maybe even catch it on sale if I'm lucky.

So... I can't seem to find this anywhere, but is this a 100% reprinting minus the "new" minis and the Chaos/Dread word swap?
Will my photographic (read as played it so many times it finally stuck) memory of the first 14 quests make this a little less fun?

[Not that it matters I backed in the first hour but still...]

They currently need to average about 140 Mythic Tier per day to hit the 2m goal by the end of the timer.

I've already backed it at Mythic tier, so it doesn't even matter, but something I'm confused about is: what is "The Spirit Queen's Torment"? A quest? A questbook? Does it come in the regular version? The Mythic version? Or is it an unlockable? The only mention of it is in the guest designer section for Teos Abadia.

Has anyone figured out what's going on here?

Yeah it sounds like it will be the exact same 14 quests.
And perhaps slightly more worrying, the same exact 10 Kellar’s Keep Quests and 1O Witch Lord Quests. Don’t get me wrong, I like both of those two expansions but they really do need a few little tweaks to take them over the line from good to great. It’ll be a shame if they don’t take advantage of this opportunity to make a few small changes that have been identified here by lots of veteran players.
But then again I live in the UK, so it won’t effect me anyway
