I ordered the Guardian Knight pack day 1 from GameStop. Been seeing people have been getting theirs on Reddit but mine is still sitting at Awaiting Product Availability. Avalon Hill’s blog seemed like there is no more shipments as this was a limited run, but GameStop customer service told me that they are waiting for more shipments. At this point, I’m not confident that I’m getting my copy.

GameStop preorders were sold out by the time I got around to placing an order last November. Someone had mentioned BigBadToyStore, which I had never heard of prior. I placed an order with them I think four days after the Guardian Knights were made available for preorder.

I just got my "order processing" email this morning, and my "order shipped" email this evening. Soooo excited is an understatement! I thought for sure I would be receiving the dreaded "we're sorry but we didn't receive enough stock to fulfill your order" email.

Now I just need to wait the 48 hours for the tracking info to go live...

My brother missed out on GameStop as well, when someone posted BigBadToStore link on here I sent it to him and he is getting his tomorrow. GameStop customer service is telling me it is on back order and will send mine when they get more stock. Avalon Hill’s blog said they sent all the inventory and there is no more stock coming. I reached out to Hasbro Pulse customer service and they told me they can’t comment on other vendors stock nor could they tell me if more stock was coming.

Like I said, it doesn’t look good for me. I missed out on Frozen Horror and Elf quest as a kid because I didn’t know they existed. I was hoping to have the complete collection for the 2021 reprint but looks like I’ll be short this character expansion. I’m not paying scalper prices.

the two gamestop figs finally came out of the blue, I got charged to my account and emailed a shipment is getting ready notice, then ironically another "your shipment is delayed" (no kidding? beyond the I ordered way since last year months late already delay? because GS apparently is world class professional outfit according to their reviews NOT!)
then a few more weeks later fed ex showed up. I had completely given up on those dinks and was looking for ways to cancel the order out of spite once I got the charge notification, but alas I ordered as a guest and was unable to beyond disputing the charge. Never again will I order anything from them unless I really don't need it and can wait a mystery 6-8 months for a no notice bank charge when they finally get their stock they lied about having...

Not sure who was first, but thanks for posting... just in time for April 1st, but quite elaborate if it were a mere hoax. We know this thing has probably been ready for awhile, so it would be about time (even if that means Sept 30th)! Let's hope it is: 1) retail friendly, and 2) isn't still broken difficulty wise (doubling the number of hire-able mercs could help that along, but what about quests 1-3?).

Anyone remember the days when you would just go to a store and a new thing would be there and you would buy it.

Now it's prefund a thing and wait a year and a half, pro-order an exclusive add-on and never get it, and get information about the next thing not from the company itself but from some esoteric scandinavian website. It's just... I'm officially middle aged now and this is exhausting / stupid. *shakes fist at cloud*

Right there with you. In fact, I'm opening up a stand giving away free gray stick on beards for all fans of anything that was good from the past.
