I finally went through my Mythic Tier set to put it all in Battle Foam.

I only had 1 bad mini. 1 of my male orcs needed his left arm glued on. A touch of super glue and 10 seconds later he was good to go.

Other than that, I have no issues with what I received.

I just happened to see on facebook that Matt Skinner reports his pre-order of Kellar's Keep (retail) charged his card and gave estimated delivery date of next week.

So sounds like it will finally be available by Christmas! I see that Return of the Witch Lord was apparently released first on retail alongside the Game System.

As previously reported by Shadzar, and discussed here there is a second "free quest" posted over at Avalon Hill (the first being Rogar's Hall by Stephen Baker) entitled "the Forsaken Tunnels of Xor-Xel."

From being another training quest, it is meant as an official bridge between the end of the Game System's 14 quests and the beginning of Kellar's Keep, establishing that the current design team intends KK to be played before ROTWL in terms of storyline, although it is strange that many retailers were carrying ROTWL before they would carry KK.

Difficulty wise it seems to be on the higher end comparable to the Game System and doesn't need any special components to play beyond what is included in the Game System, whether remake or classic. The only errata noticed as it uses three double wide blocked squares (only 2 are included) so you'd have to use single block squares for at least one of them. It is labeled "Online Quest 01" and credited to Doug Hopkins a member of the current design team.

Best Buy is listing the retail Game System as "coming soon" with a date of February 1st, 2022 (just in time for Valentine's Day?).

Big Bad ToyStore says January 2022.

Hasbro Pulse is selling it, but says "limit 1 to a customer." $125.99 (with bonus heroes, presumably)

Amazon is selling now: Game System ($125.99) as well as Kellar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord ($31.49 each)

Upon further examination (counting the actual cards 3x), I do have 151 cards (sweet relief!)

So I purchased 4 fifty packs of Gamegenic card sleeves. I only opened 3 of them, and had 1 sleeve left over, which is why I thought I had 149 cards. Gamegenic must have packed a couple of extra sleeves in my pack.

I need to count mine over, because I had the same issue. I sleeved them all, but had 1 or 2 sleeves left over.

Using a family member's smart phone I was finally able to try out the Heroquest "Companion App." It was free (of course) and downloaded quickly over the wifi on iOS. It shows version 1.00.01 (which I guess translates to "17" in decimal).

You can play with 1-4 heroes in the Game System quests (in any order) only. KK & ROTWL are there but it says they will be coming soon in digital form. As others have shown, the three "Mythic" exclusive heroes are included (Bard, Druid, Warlock). This means you can play with them solo, or have them replace another hero in any combination. When picking a character, you get a choice of variations of them... meaning you can be the male or female Barbarian but not both at the same time. When picking the Wizard you can be the male or female version but you can also be the "Mentor" looking Wizard variant. In-game they're just using little profile icons anyway.

The sound didn't work for some reason... even though I had the "game volume" turned all the way up, not sure what that was about. I just messed around a little bit and had all the heroes escape to the stairs and it warned me I would fail the quest if I did it that way, but since nothing is really carried over, I didn't care. It also saves your progress if you want to, and you can create multiple "parties" (meaning multiple saves)... not sure what the limit is (I created four but didn't try to make more).

It also appears that all of the Artifacts (that had actual cards) are found here, but a good portion of them don't have the illustrations in (they are highlighted in gold). Not sure if they plan to add those later, but some text just appears saying "Follow the card's instructions" (whereas many of the others from KK/ROTWL are there with the full artwork). As others have pointed out there are other artworks (basically each quest has a "theme" picture, like a card style illustration of Verag for the Trial or a picture of Sir Ragnar for this rescue, etc). But I know there's supposed to be music and (cheesy) voice acting and sound effects in the background.

I took a short video which will make it into a future stream. I know I'm not the first but just wanted to show a little sample next time.
