So I retract my earlier statement (saying Redditors were reporting fake news), I didn't click on the gift guide link.. there it is. odd indeed!
It IS the old stock photo we've seen before on other sites prior to release, with the black pip movement dice (the actual pips are white in the final version).
What precisely it all means, I'd take the minimalist approach rather than assuming Gamestop is selling a completely new expansion full of all kinds of brand new content for 26 canadian dollars, until I see more official info on it.
Edit: As you can see from the actual pic, it says HeroQuest Knight Expansion Character also available for $25.99. Sir Ragnar certainly qualifies as a "character" although he's not part of any expansion. Could the expansions refer to KK/ROTWL? But then that's not just the Game System. So it's a little confusing. But it might mean GS+KK+ROTWL with Sir Ragnar for that price, rather than anything to do with Mythic Tier or some hitherto unrevealed new expansion pack. I'm not against other territories getting exclusive content, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I remember back when MK9 was launched with pre-order DLC skins, people were scalping the exclusive skin codes for ridiculous sums. I remember thinking "You fools... they're obviously going to package them as a DLC pack down the line" and sure enough, I was right. Not that I tried rubbing it in everyone's face, but I did feel kinda bad for the people scammed into paying hundreds for a single skin, only for the full set to become a $5 pack just weeks later.

I seriously doubt Hasbro would do a secret exclusive with them when basic retail hasn't even been firmly confirmed with anyone let alone a videogame store...
but this release has been a weird ride who knows.
Certainly nothing in that picture is an exclusive. Smells fishy
