I was sure someone would beat me to posting this... (besides Blayze of course, who posted the main link!) No real spoilers here, just some confirmation of a few questions we had. Not mine, all credit to the original posters.

"King of Butts @Dewidiot" posted pics of opened miniatures on the board on reddit.

So from this, we learn (those earlier pics weren't far off)...

As far as the colors go there's a lot of factors that could throw off how they look in pictures, but I'm still inclined to think they look more like the brighter colored EU figures, at least the Heroes (brilliant red instead of a ketchup/dried blood red), although the undead figures are a yellowish "off" white color, I recall the EU undead were much more "white" (cream) than the NA (ivory) ones.

Miniature colors:

mummy, zombie, skeleton = off white
Witch Lord = off white (undead color)
all heroes = red (yes, including "Mentor" and the Orc Bard... sadly no blue female heroes )
sir ragnar = red
chaos warriors = gray
gargoyles = gray
orcs, goblins, abominations = dark green
dragon = gray (it's the biggest character miniature, somewhat taller than the Gargoyle)
dread sorcerors = gray

furniture:

doors (open/closed) = gray
reinforced door = brown
iron door = gray
weapons rack = brown
throne = brown
tomb = gray
fireplace = gray (not brown!)
sorcerer's table = gray
bookcases = brown
cupboard = brown
torture rack = gray (not brown!)
treasure chests = brown
alchemist's bench = brown
rats = brown

I assumed there would be off white "skulls" but I don't see any in the pics.

Despite the back of the boxes being posted, I can't quite tell from the resolution the actual shape of the dice, if they're still the sharp cornered or not.

The quest books are the "tabloid style" (landscape orientation like the NA rather than portrait like the the EU version) with color covers.

So as we can see there are four boxes inside the big box... GS, KK, ROTWL and the "mythic tier" exclusive box that is black with the Barbarian on the front and the Dragon on the back.

That does indeed look to be a "quad fold" board as many judged based on the more square shape of the big box, and the seams and line seals it.

Another user posted the "stolen from facebook" pic of the miniature holder, and showing the disappointing dice (white pips? sharp corners), just like the earlier pics. (Had to resize this one because it was so huge)

The round bases have a hollow on the bottom. And we see the infamous "candy box" holder for the minis was indeed part of the final design. I can't see that thing holding up too well over time. It also makes me think those minis should be taken out and washed (if they haven't been already from the factory) or they could start to get oily (even gummy) over time. I've seen it happen before with some plastic toys that I've opened after they stayed "in the box" for many years. Reaper Bones owners know that you're supposed to clean them prior to painting because they tend to have a little coating on them, so it couldn't hurt.

Guessing there must be two "trays" one for the minis and one for the furniture. Wonder if the expansion boxes have similar "trays" for their minis?

Well that answers a few more questions... ! This Butts guy is really cranking out the pics. We should have gotten him on the list, ah well, less for us to do!
He has some kind of glass table, which brings back memories because as kids we played HQ on a glass table as well.

Character sheets pad, hard to tell how many are there, but the design looks about the same (the battle axes look a little more detailed), not sure if it's bigger than the old one (hard to judge the scale of anything really other than the squares).

Prophecy of Telor (Stephen Baker's quest book) shows some kind of Wizard figure with a helmet and some fire in his hand (and all around him) on the cover. I'm dreaming of a wizard quest pack, but I'm probably dreaming there.

Can't see many of the cards there and can't see the instruction booklet. There is some gold amulet looking tile there in a corner next to the GM screen. Wonder what it is?

The rats are separate (not pre-glued to the furniture).

Oddly, the skulls are on sprues!

Second (gray) Gargoyle is included as others mentioned (and despite my earlier assumption, it appears to be male as well). We see more holders in the other boxes...

The extra dice are the same as the dice included in the Game System box (not that they would be another color, but since we know about "zargon dice" it could have been a question).

The bases shouldn't be too hard to remove with a hobby knife/razor even though they appear integrated (and not glued on).

I wonder how hard it would be to grind off those die corners without throwing off the balance?

I also notice that the tiles have rounded corners now. I guess to make it easier (besides the size) to tell them apart from the classic ones?

What we're calling "Ye Olde Inn" tile is a 6x9 (?) room.

Looks like KK & ROTWL EACH come with a set of the new closed doors ("reinforced" and iron). Even though you wouldn't need them all, perhaps so they can sell them separately in the future? So you'll have some extra closed doors to use. I'm doubting these risque content in the books that is intended for more mature audiences, but I guess we'll see...

The quest books also all have a tan/khaki border on their covers, instead of each being a different color as in the originals.

Since nothing is painted, I'm guessing the "14+" age thing refers to the "sharp objects" warning similar to what appeared on the old Advanced HeroQuest Box (I'm not joking). Pokey stuff, kids! Because classic Hero Quest was age 9 and up in the UK and 10 to adult in the US.

I see a certain textured finish on certain things (like the box and the GM Screen), I forget what it's called, but you an see what look like a kind of pattern like tartan, hard to describe it, rather than being completely glossy smooth or matte like paper. It's like those "high quality" textures you can order for boards and tiles at BGM. I guess it makes it easier to grab hold of it and maybe a little less likely to show finger prints. Linen finish? I think that's what it's called. You don't notice it unless you're shining a light directly on it or looking very closely at it.

anyone got a pic form the EB Games / GameStop listing or the other online store listings to compare the actual box to the "misinformaiton" as Avalon Hill called it?

Again it's hard to judge the scale, but the cards look like they are about 3x5 in size, assuming those squares are precisely 1 inch as they've been telling us from day one. Of course if true, that would translate to index card size (76mm x 127mm) which is huge compared to the originals, so maybe that is way off.

The Alchemist's bench has a bunch of bottles (I presume pre-glued) on the top shelf next to the scales. They're brown like the rest (no gray bottles). Small details I know, but still, just noticing.
