This would be a really nice way of adding a bit more depth to the heroes so that each type has it's own attack and defence dice. Using the original four as an example the dwarf would get the best defence type of dice and the elf would get the worst, and the barbarian would get the best type of attack dice and the wizard would get the worst. That way the barbarian is actually more dangerous than the others with the same weapons. Might take a lot of effort to balance probably though and it's loosing a bit of its simplistic charm, not much though.

That's the great thing about having special dice for special weapons/armors/items/etc. It loses very little of the
simplicity. You simply state which die(dice) the item is supposed to use...it's that simple.
Let's looks at a weapon - even if the weapon uses more than one attack die, you can simply state that one of those
dice is a certain special die. It still adds more to the weapon, without taking away much simplicity, and adds a lot
more depth to the game.

Hah! Well, I'll get back to you when I figure out how to make a chameleon hand puppet on a laser engraver...

torilen wrote:I appreciate that hard work - clearly you are professional and serious - I feel good about backing you :)

I, personally, will probably look at your graphics first, and maybe see if someone here at the Inn can
make a graphic for me second - I'd rather not deal with Hasbro at all, if at all possible.

Again...thanks for the hard work.

Thanks! That means a lot. I look forward to making some dice for you!
