Coincidedentely, I stumbled over Darksword this week when I was looking for a Game of Thrones mini to paint for my girlfriend's birthday (she's a big fan of the series).
Have a look ;)

I've used minis from various companies. Mantic is great, Reaper has superb minis too, I'm using GW Ogres, beastmen, lizardmen and Skaven amongst other things.
I think we have a thread about this somewhere... I'll look it up and merge the topics.

Just came across http://www.1001modelkits.com/figures/6353-caesar-miniatures-103-undead.html?gclid=CjwKEAiAkpCkBRCtstKQo5ia5nESJACsCikRTO8VQHbz65m35gtS52lNrg_N-IGJMtLUVtzmTXexJBoCWs_w_wcB and wanted to know if anyone has had experience with Caeser Minatures. I like undead and this seems to be a great deal. I get the feeling that the scale will be more along the size of Descent than HQ, would I be right?

Probably, yes.
In height, 1:72 is similar to 25mm (which would be HQ), but the "Heroic" proportion in widths would be sorely missing.
Now considering that most of your proxies will be 28mm some fine day, the scale doesn't fit anymore.
Mind you, I've never seen them in person, and this is just a hunch.

1/72 is closer to 15mm so they will be pretty small but would make great undead hobbits

That was what I was thinking. Guess they'd still work as corpse markers or as modding materials for other minis or decor. Thanks for the sizing info.
