I printed everything I needed for all the expansions here from the Inn.

I just own a beat up copy of the Game System with everything intact. Half the doors are bent and some of the Orcs are painted.

I was gonna wait on getting the expansions, but it seems those are getting expensive.

I was able to get my hands on a german Master set, and all the Expansions (Except EQ & BQ).
at least i have all the figurines for the game and the 4 Expansions. For EQ & BQ i use other figurines.

Thanks to yeoldeinn i am, at the moment, still in the process of completing all the missing cards, overlays, tiles, etc...

I just went today into a local paperstore and bought sprayglue, cardboard 1mm, 240gr/m² paper (for the cards), transparent adhesive foil, whiteboard markers and so on.

So soon, i will be able not to only say, that i have the game but also, i'll be able to say, that i have it complete and as original as possible.

i actually had the remains of the original from when i was a kid and after finding the full game at a convention i discovered it came with an expansion and by printing the quests, cards, and tiles i wwas able to combine the remains of my original set to form a 2nd expansion, their return of the witch lord and kellar's keep. now im just trying to get miniatures for the remaining quest packs

I'm glad I'm not the only one with just a base set. I just can't justify the cost of the expansions when I'm sitting on a color printer, some extra tiles leftover form RPGs, and a ton of extra miniatures from all variety of ranges. The Inn is amazing - it let me print out what I needed and I can leave more sets out there for the collectors (I just wanna play!).

I was 29 when I first discovered heroquest ,so I had the means to buy stuff and stuff I did buy. Toys R' Us was already had the Game System,Kellar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord on clearance when I bought them,plus I found my first game system in the trash of a store called Hastings,which is where I bought my copies of
Mage of the Mirror and Frozen Horror from.

Nine years ago I bought a game system on ebay for 10 bucks ( I bought that for the box due to the fact I cut up the game system boxes so they would fit in a plastic tub) around the same time I found another game system at a thrift store for 6 bucks,that set was pretty beat up but other then 2 missing treasure cards and some horrible paint jobs on the heroes it was a bargain.

And not to long ago I traded a bunch of Heroclix to a friend for another Game System, a Return of the Witch Lord that was missing the models but the quest book was intact and the tile set is still unpunched . Plus a box of various fantasy minis and some game boards from some other fantasy games.

So over all I ended up with 8 Game Systems, one is near mint with the dice still in the unopened plastic bag ,a set of furniture that has not been assembled and a set of doors that have not been punched, the cards are still white and crisp looking, the tiles are loose but in very good shape.

And then I actually took two game boards and cut them up. removed all the hallways so only the four sections were intact and I used them for multi leveled games (used the pillars from wedding cakes to stand them up.)

At one time I owned all of the NA sets, including Advanced and Warhammer Quest. As I mentioned in my intro post during a move I lost ALL of my cards from all sets of HQ. Still have the Warhammer Cards somewhere.

Still have the board, and tiles from everything, dice, furniture, and so on. Though at some point I gave all the minis away to a friend who was just getting into D&D and could not afford minis. (And I own tons of WotC D&D as well as Mage Knight stuff, so I have mostly substituted those minis).

I really wish I had not lost all the original cards though.
