Brutus of Camp Bell, Warrior Alchemist

Only question I have is does swapping out his arm attachment count as an action?

I don’t believe you can swap out the arm attachment unless there are no monsters in the room. At which point it would be a ‘non-action’. (As swapping weapons isn’t defined as an action. Though they don’t give an option to change weapons either ... so it would be a decision by the evil Wizard.)

Play Classic Hero Quest?

"convert" all your homebrew mods over to the new art style?

Teach someone to read.

Plant a garden.

I dont have the original unfortunately. I believe it was cast out some years ago by someone in my family.

I'm going to get my paints out at somepoint to start on some walking dead miniatures I have, so I'll have confidence when HQ turns up.

As of now you'll receive 85 Miniatures, not including the furniture, chests, etc, if you bought the Mythic Tier. This is a lot of minis plus the game system for $150

I am lucky to have my childhood HQ still plus some expansion stuff I've bought off ebay, and I'm always trying to find time for painting still. This will be an excellent challenge and I'm very hopeful we can mix and match without looking like an entirely different game

Yes. Do they deliver to Germany, now? France too. Those two countries are huge board game markets. People work no more than 35 or 40 hours per week, they have the time and the tradition, too.

Which seems pretty good if you like them. Shipping rates and tax may vary...

My younger sibling had HQ and the first two expansions from our childhoods. I bought my own NA GS later. Also found a copy for my other sibling.

As for compatibility, unless the figures are really, really tall (not counting weapons or tips of helmets), they should be fully compatible. The original figure bases were between 22 and 25 mm while the squares were only 22 mm. The Remake board's squares are 25.4 mm (if I'm doing my conversions correctly, we don't use the metric system much in the states). So the new bases would be a bit crowded on the old board, but not vice versa. They've stated that the rules and Quests are based directly on the NA (US Edition) with very little change (with all of the featured examples bear out, I have yet to see anything different other than the new bonus Heroes with their new spells).

Thank you for the theme of my next diorama! I didn't "get" that video in my youth. Now I can honestly say we didn't know how good we had it with music/dance/videos back in the day.

At the time I laughed out loud at how monotonous and goofy it was. Now I consider it high art compared to some of the "stuff" we get now... ;)

[ Somebody with way more video talent than myself ought to edit that video either with a deepfake or parody/tribute.. replacing the mutants with Orcs and the robot/aliens with Chaos Warriors... then we will have truly arrived ]

Also, bummer to anyone who no longer has Classic HeroQuest! I am thinking of encouraging some of my friends to get the new one, who never had it back in the day. And maybe I'll introduce them to homebrewing stuff too... !

I've always loved how this site community converts material between the EU and NA versions (and Japanese and Portuguese content into English... I don't get to hear from the Japanese and Portuguese fans who might be missing out stuff in their native language), giving fans access to the best of all worlds. I presume with the Remake, that will be true as well. Fans who never had the old classic sets can experience some of the great custom content we've enjoyed here. I would also be happy to see Classic interpretations of the new content as well.
