There is http://www.campaigncoins.com/ they have a variety of metal coinage and get good reviews for quality. They are luxury items, but if you've been playing a game for 20yrs, they're the cost of a big night out in the taverns after a quest.

Wow, they are really nice indeed! Thanks for sharing.

(But I don't think the gold coins are actually gold!)

Ive been doing something similar with potions players receive. Picked up some cool vials with corks and filled them randomly with stuff, from alcohol to the sour stuff you get at sweet shops. When a player finds a potion, they get one.
When they want to drink their potion, they have to drink the vial!

All sorts of drama when i hand out the urine-coloured potion and players dont trust me! :D

It is OTT, but I like to put a small fan blowing across freshly wet soil in a pot - creates a slightly musty earthen scent, just like a dank dungeon. Normally for Warhammer Quest sessions than HQ.

I like the idea of premixed potions :D

I thought- cant go wrong for 99p :P

I had thought of that idea before but never actually went out of my way to look for some way of doing it. Here's to hoping I score on this one! Most definitely going to use these next time my heroes have to drink a potion. I'm already going to get some pop rocks candy to put in here. I'm definitely going to crush up some warheads and only put in the sour bits that have been dissolved in water. Alchemy is going to take on a whole new meaning now!

Yahoo. Won them tiny little bottles. I know it's pretty dumb but I'm looking forward to filling them with various substances and giving them to my friends to drink when they have to use a potion. I know that more random potions with unknown effects will start showing up in quests just to have them drink it and see their reactions. Thank for keying me onto those!
