Yeah, a friend of mine was setting up quests last year, but I was too busy with work.

And a few weeks ago I got my old heroquest out – its near 20 years old and had gone mouldy!

So I was trying to fix up the figures and a lot were broken. I didn’t know there was so much stuff online or that the U.S. had all its own quests and figures…

… I’ll just post the address thing till I get the status to put on pics

that’s my mould for bases. I tried using green stuff and miliput, but results were poor.
The best stuff is the resin plastic because it pours into the mould like a milkshake and keeps a lot of detail.

Keep posting, you will soon catch up. Check out the Food thread & tell us what you eat & drink when Questing, I guess not Guinness all the time? I have made some bases from plywood of the correct thickness, when the edges are sanded, and then painted, they look ok.

I’m using easyflo-120 which can bought on ebay for about £18

It comes in two parts (thick liquids stored in containers that are just a little smaller than coke bottles). You mix the two parts together and pour them into the mould where it sets into a dense plastic-like stuff in about an hour.

And I think I may be using the wrong grade of material – easyflo-60 is recommended for small and detailed moulds – but the 120 stuff is working well and is very dense and hard to break

Just coffee? Man, you need to get out & put yourself about a bit. Get the taste for Cocktails, and Beernuts' Jumbalaya.

I was wondering if instant mold and resin worked well. Where did you get the dye and how much of it did it take?
Sure it's pretty scary when the witch lord returns but what you should really be afraid of is "Resurrection of the Witch Lord". Resurrected baddies always come back more threatening than ever, usually kind of demonic with wings and horns and hell fire to announce their arrival. Think Gannondorf or Mother Brain from Super Metroid.
