I printed all of the treasure cards, partly to protect the originals, but mostly so that they all match. I added some from the eu version, and anticipate adding printed ones from the expansions. Great resources available here at the Inn.

I hate sleeves... Prefer the raw card, warn and battered.

Nobody "likes" to wrap it up, but you gotta protect your deck. As they say, "Don't be a fool, cover your tool." ;)

lol... but HeroQuest is better if the deck is warn and tatty. In my opinion of course. Nostalgia. No protection needed. For the price of sleeves we could buy another deck (if you're lucky).

As for "don't be a fool cover your tool" if you're in doubt you shouldn't be doing the Job. For me... if it needs wrapping it's not worth doing! I'd rather go with out!!! I have walked the darkside and it is a constant battle but we should learn self discipline. Not been aspired by by these weak minded pick up artists, thriving off our most basic urge.

Probably getting a lil too philosophical for a Sunday afternoon but isn't that what Sundays are for?

this is why you print a new deck and leave the set that comes with the game in the box to limit damage to the deck.

I am all for printing your own treasure deck.
My Heroquest game came complete with wizards of morcar, ogre hordes, KK and WL. That was a great surprise, as it was not mentioned in the auction. However, the treasure cards have been marked and were incomplete. There was a dot on the backside on each treasure card. Not bothering if it was a meaningful marking or not, i wanted to hack the treasure deck anyway.
So now i have a clean treasure deck to my liking, with new cards from china. :)
