I feel he's the right scale but measures up at about 9 foot tall, and why not.

I forked out for the high mage figure off ebay. Shame to make a WoM set out there incomplete, but I really wanted to own this figure.

I'm quite pleased with my paint job, it's probabaly the best one I've ever painted.

I'm jealous of your Ogres. My friends and I got some of the Ogres with clubs at a Gen Con way back as swag. We even went back for seconds when they changed employees. Have about 6, of which only 1 is painted. Next time I return stateside, I'll have to pester him to find and return mine.

I like what you did with the D&D Spirit Riders. It makes me want to touch up mine to match your style. I'm curious as to why you left the number tabs on them... are they useful in game-play? As a general comment, it's great to see all your mediocre D&D figs enhanced up to tabletop standards.

Maybe you should give the high mage an escape scroll so you can bring him back in another Quest or four. A paint-job like that deserves a house rule.

Hey Daedalus thanks for your positive comments.

I have some of them ogres with clubs too, they came with Darkworld, they are perfect size for HQ. I undercoated mine but never got round to painting them. Don't know why I left the number tabs on, I'm just lazy I guess, or it didn't occur to me to take them off. Such a shame that I only got 3 of those kind of skeletons and there are 4 spirit riders

I will have this high mage as my Mentor figure, that way he can make multiple appearances.

Finally got the other Wizards of Morcar. Just painted the Storm Master. I share.

I didn't like this model much but now he's painted I'm quite fond of it. Hope I feel that way about the Orc Shamen, at the moment I think it just looks too comical.
